Tina Cowley developed the unique “Cowley technology assisted learning methods” during her relentless pursuit to overcome her son’s reading problem. The common learning disability ascribed by many experts to a child who appears disadvantaged when compared to his or per peers, the Cowley technology simply identifies as a reading disability. A modified keyboard was invented and patented, which provided a spontaneous reading environment for pre-school children. In all cases, they were able to rapidly identify the letters being read, but more significantly they were able to recognize letters with a five-fold increase in recognition time. They were also able to identify all the letters and numbers as apposed to the marked deficiencies recorded when using only the conventional keyboard.
